SLH-2019-1-6Scott L. Hambleton, M.D., Medical Director

Scott L. Hambleton, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Medicine.  He completed the Accelerated Family Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee in 1996.  Dr. Hambleton completed the University of Florida Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Pine Grove Behavioral Health in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in 2007.  He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Addiction Medicine and is a Distinguished Fellow in the American Society of Addiction Medicine.  Dr. Hambleton is the immediate Past President of the Mississippi Society of Addiction Medicine.  He has served as Medical Director of The Oxford Centre in Oxford, Mississippi, for treatment of adults with chemical dependency; Medical Director at Pine Grove Women's Center for treatment of women with chemical dependence and/or eating disorders; and Medical Director of Pine Grove's Gentle Path Program for treatment of sexual addiction.  In November, 2010, Dr. Hambleton became the Medical Director of the Mississippi Physician Health Program, which is Mississippi's designated Physician Health Program.

Powell 1.0Kristin A. Powell, LSCW, Associate Director

Kristin A. Powell, LCSW, is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi School of Social Work and of Mississippi State University. She worked for ten years in the Mental Health field and helped provide services to adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Kristin also has experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. In June 2018, she joined Mississippi Physician Health Program as Clinical Case Manager.

katty-neelyKatty Neely, Case Manager

Katty Neely graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Mississippi College and a Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of Alabama. Katty previously worked in residential therapeutic foster care and at the Mississippi Department of Transportation. She joined the Mississippi Physician Health Program as a Case Manager in June, 2020, and is currently working towards earning her LMSW designation.

Sherry 1.0Sherry B. Stanley, Executive Office Manager

Sherry graduated from Greenwood High School and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. She has worked as an Executive Assistant in banking; financial securities; civil engineering; aerospace, marine and defense manufacturing; life insurance; certified public accounting; oil and gas exploration; and civil law. She began working at the Mississippi Physician Health Program in October, 2014.
